You’re not hiring an agency. You’re hiring me.
I’m John, and Frostbyte Web Solutions is a one-person studio. That’s not a phase before I scale — it’s the design. You talk to the person who builds your site, prices your project, and answers when something needs fixing. No account managers, no handoffs, no “let me check with the team.”
I started Frostbyte because small service businesses kept getting the worst of both options: agency invoices for template results, or DIY platforms that ate their weekends and still looked DIY. [One to two sentences of John’s real origin — the moment or client that made this concrete.]
The people I build for are good at their work and busy doing it. A paralegal with a full caseload. A fabricator on the shop floor. They don’t need a digital transformation — they need a website that earns trust before the first call and doesn’t ask anything of them after launch.
Three rules I don’t break
Fixed prices.
You approve the number before work starts, and that’s the number. If I scoped it wrong, that’s my problem, not your invoice.
Clean code.
No page builders, no plugin stacks, no mystery. Sites built simply enough that any competent developer could pick them up — which is exactly why you won’t need one to.
No lock-in.
The code, the content, the hosting account, the domain — all in your name from day one. Clients stay on Care Plans because they want to, not because leaving is complicated.
Why Astro, Sanity, and Cloudflare
Every Frostbyte site runs on the same three tools, chosen for what they do for you — not for what they signal to other developers.
Astro
Astro turns your site into plain, fast HTML. No app loading behind the scenes, nothing for a browser to chew on. That’s why the sites are quick — and why Google treats them well. The full plain-English version
Sanity
Sanity is the editing side. Change your own text, swap a photo, publish a blog post — from a clean editing screen, without the fear that one wrong click takes the site down.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare serves the site from a global network — the same infrastructure behind a sizable chunk of the internet. Reliable, secure, and cheap enough to run that hosting stops being a line item you resent.
Let’s talk.
Tell me about your business. I’ll tell you honestly whether I’m the right fit — and if I’m not, I’ll say so.
